Summary:
In recent years, Europe has witnessed increased influx of immigrants. The terms “immigrant” and “migrant” refer to those who have moved from their own country to another, regardless of the reason for the move. Financial Literacy is the knowledge and understanding of how money is earned, spent, and saved, in addition to the skills and capacity to make good financial choices.
This project aims to educate immigrant women on effective financial management, thereby empowering them to make prudent financial decisions. This project will expand adult education opportunities and upskilling pathways for adult immigrant women to improve their critical life skills, employment, health, and social opportunities.
Aim:
The FLY project aims to design a valuable tool for adult educators and trainers to use during the lessons. as well us to empower females with immigration background and promote equal participation of immigrant and refugee women in all aspects of life.
Activities:
All partners will conduct a Focus Group to ascertain the target group’s needs. The project activities will divide in different educational TPMS, which will lay the foundations for a successful program.
Expected Results:
R1: FLY educational toolkit, including a desk research and focus group, in order to map the needs of the target group and create customized training resources. It will result in the creation of FLY curriculum & competences framework.
