Summary:

The most recent research indicates that the pandemic and its aftermath, the economic repercussions, have negatively affected a large number of young people in Europe who were already in a disadvantaged position. The project aims to address these issues by raising NEETs and low-skilled adults’ awareness on Circular Economy and empowering them with the necessary skills and tools that will enable to access the labor market, thus contributing to the development of a more just and sustainable economy.

Objectives

The objectives of the project are:

• To create synergies that support learning, and strengthen capacitation of adult organisations;
• To empower adult educators with tools to engage NEETs and low skills adults in the Circular Economy by supporting them to use opportunities CE can provide to develop their own entrepreneurial initiatives;
• To arise a measurable impact through the adult education community and stakeholders, helping them build an eco-consciousness, and a stronger connection between training and labour market.

Results

To achieve its objectives, the project has foreseen the development of the following results:

• Training material “EntreComp for the Circular Economy”, which will empower and equip educators with new working approaches, methods, and materials for developing an entrepreneurial mindset and competences based on CE principles.
• An Online Training Platform “THINKCirEco Community“, for adult educators, trainers, facilitators, coaches, NEETs and low-skilled adults to learn about CE in an interactive manner.
