ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND CLIMATE CRISIS AWARENESS

Climate change education is an important part of the worldwide response. It helps individuals understand and respond to the consequences of global warming, develops “climate literacy” among young people, supports changes in their attitudes and behavior, and helps them adapt to climate change-related trends. Education and awareness-raising allow for better informed decision-making, play an essential part in boosting communities’ adaptation and mitigation abilities, and empower women and men to live more sustainable lifestyles. Young participants in this programme receive instruction about the climate problem, plastic trash disposal, and environmental protection methods. During the project’s implementation, participants will work in groups to create a joint project-activity that they may carry out with the assistance of visiting youngsters. The results of this exercise will be communicated to the other teams as well as utilized as learning tools.

MAIN AIM

The goal of this KA1 mobility is to raise awareness among the younger generation about environmental change and the serious consequences it may bring. The participants will be educated on the climate crisis as well as effective ways to protect the environment.

METHODOLOGY

The course uses participatory approaches as much as possible. A variety of methodologies will be used, including lecture/presentation, discussions, group work, questions and answers, demonstrations, and practical sessions (hands-on practice).
Participants will be given a hard copy of the material presented during the course.
Each participant will be assessed throughout the course.
