Within the EUfolk project, another exciting step has been completed: the creation of short videos featuring seniors who have been trained in digital storytelling and video production.
After participating in dedicated training sessions, seniors from the participating countries used their newly acquired skills to create short videos where they share traditional stories, legends, and local customs from their communities. Through these videos, valuable cultural knowledge is recorded and passed on in a modern, accessible format.
These personal narratives not only preserve local traditions but also highlight the important role that older generations play in safeguarding Europe’s rich cultural heritage. By combining tradition with digital creativity, the EUfolk project empowers seniors to become active storytellers and cultural ambassadors.
The videos are part of our broader effort to promote intergenerational learning, ensuring that the stories, values, and traditions of the past can inspire younger generations today and in the future.
Stay tuned as we continue sharing these wonderful stories and celebrating the voices that keep our cultural heritage alive!
