As part of the EUfolk project, training workshops on video creation and digital storytelling have been successfully completed in all partner countries: Poland, Greece, and Spain.
The workshops brought together 24 participants (8 per partner country), creating intergenerational teams composed of seniors and young participants. Guided by the EUfolk Guide on Video Creation, participants were introduced to the essential principles of producing digital stories, including storytelling techniques, filming methods, and interviewing approaches.
A key focus of the workshops was learning how to document personal memories, local traditions, and folklore narratives that reflect shared European cultural values. Participants were encouraged to explore their own experiences and traditions, creating a comfortable environment where stories could be shared authentically and creatively.
Through this process, seniors gained practical digital skills while young participants contributed their perspectives and technical support. Together, they formed collaborative teams that will continue working on the production of short videos featuring traditional stories and cultural memories.
These workshops represent an important step in the EUfolk project’s mission to preserve Europe’s cultural heritage while fostering intergenerational learning and digital inclusion.
Stay tuned as the project continues with the creation of videos that bring these stories and traditions to life!
