Here’s a view into the second unit of the IncludeME Educational Package, which focuses on Professional Development
This unit is designed to provide comprehensive training for professionals working with young migrants and refugees, particularly focusing on the unique challenges and opportunities associated with supporting them.
Migrants and refugees often face significant barriers to integration, including cultural differences, educational disruptions, and vocational challenges.
This unit aims to equip participants with the skills and knowledge necessary to address these challenges effectively and support the personal and professional development of migrant youth.
It focuses on topics such as developing cultural competence, understanding the critical role of mentorship, taking advantage of technology for continuous learning, and accurately assessing educational and vocational needs of the target group. In this way they will be better prepared to create more inclusive and supportive environments.
