We are pleased to update you on the progress of BOUTCAR, an EMFAF EU project dedicated to shaping the future of fisheries and aquaculture. Through this initiative, we are developing a training pathway for young people and adults to build the competencies and skills essential for supporting the EUGreenDeal and advancing BlueGrowth. By delivering professional training and fostering collaborative networks across the EU, BOUTCAR aims to boost awareness and interest in Blue Careers.
Recently, we held our 3rd Transnational Project Meeting (TPM) in Rimini, Italy. Partners had the opportunity to review project progress and outline our next steps. This meeting also coincided with ECOMONDO – The Green Technology Expo, where we hosted our 2nd BOUTCAR workshop. The event was attended by organizations in the blue economy, end-users, universities, and others interested in Blue Careers. It was an exciting chance to engage with stakeholders and promote the project’s vision.
