DURATION: 01/08/2024– 31/07/2026

Project description

The aim of the STEPS project is to equip teachers, educators, and other teaching professionals with knowledge and innovative educational approaches in order to support them in their efforts to reduce the rates of early school leavers. To that end, the project targets the issue of early school leaving in Europe and promotes the exchange of good practices and the conceptualization of novel strategies so as to improve the competences of the participants and enable them to provide high-quality, inclusive education.

Objectives:

  1. raise the awareness of the issue of Early School Leaving (ESL) and its consequences
  2. propose long-lasting and sustainable strategies and practices on addressing the issue of ESL
  3. promote these strategies and practices further by training teachers and educators, as they are the ones who can actively shape the school environment and influence students’ educational success.
