GENERAL INFORMATION
Title: A Digital Network to Boost Opportunities of Marginalised Youth by Exploiting EU Programmes
Acronym: CareerBoost
Project number: 2025-1-PL01-KA210-YOU-000352243
Implementation period: 01/10/2025 – 30/09/2026

About the Project
Europe’s youth face high unemployment (14.4% in May 2024, with Greece at 23.8%), especially those with fewer opportunities. While many EU programs exist—such as Erasmus+, European Solidarity Corps, Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions, Horizon Europe, and COSME—young people often lack awareness of them, missing out on internships, training, and career opportunities.
CareerBoost tackles this gap by empowering youth organizations and trainers with the knowledge to navigate and use these programs effectively, supporting marginalized youth in their personal and professional growth. A central action is creating EUYouthBridge, a network that complements SALTO but spans a broader range of EU programs.
By fostering collaboration, sharing knowledge, and connecting stakeholders, CareerBoost expands opportunities for disadvantaged youth, strengthens youth organizations, and aligns with EU goals of inclusion, diversity, and innovation in education and employment. The project aims to create equitable pathways to careers and amplify its long-term societal impact.
Project Objectives
CareerBoost aims to empower youth organisations to enhance the employability of marginalised youth by bridging the awareness gap on EU programmes and opportunities. The project will:
- O1: Increase awareness and equip youth organisations with knowledge and tools to guide young people’s growth.
- O2: Boost youth organisation participation in EU projects, ensuring equal access for marginalised youth.
- O3: Establish a cross-border network of stakeholders and partners to promote knowledge sharing, collaboration, and improved employability.
